  2.         Miscellaneous selection 1 allows you to combine the  information
  3.         for  two  branches  of  your family into one group of files. You
  4.         must be careful, however, to make sure that you remove  the  in-
  5.         formation for anyone that appears in both of the original groups
  6.         to avoid duplicate entries for them in the resulting files.
  7.  
  8.         Miscellaneous selection 2 will create a new group of  files  for
  9.         any  branch  of the family that you have previously flagged. The
  10.         resulting files will include all  of  the  information  for  the
  11.         names  that you have flagged including the names of spouses that
  12.         may not be flagged. If you choose to include all  of  the  names
  13.         instead  of  a subgroup, the resulting files will be the same as
  14.         the original except that the numbers may change for some members
  15.         of  the  family.  This will happen if you have left some gaps in
  16.         the numbering sequence.

  18.         NOTE: Because of the probability of creating  duplicate  entries
  19.         by  splitting  files  using  selection  2,  selection 1 will not
  20.         properly regenerate your original data files.

  22.         Miscellaneous selection 3 allow you to search  for  information.
  23.         You  may  enter any string of characters. They will be displayed
  24.         in upper case but will  match  either  case.  The  program  will
  25.         search  the  name  list  and  the genealogical information for a
  26.         matching string. For example the string MARY will find any  per-
  27.         son  with  the name Mary and anyone that was born, died, or mar-
  28.         ried in Maryland.

  30.         Miscellaneous selection 4 will print blank information forms  on
  31.         your printer.

  33.         Miscellaneous  selection  5  will  print  the  information for a
  34.         family group that includes the husband, wife and children.  This
  35.         information  is similar to that used by members of The Church of
  36.         Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in their research.

  39.         Miscellaneous selection 6 prints all family group records.
  40.  
  41.         Miscellaneous selection 7 will prompt you for the names  of  two
  42.         individuals  and  display a description of their relationship to
  43.         each other.

  45.         Miscellaneous selection 8 will unsort (sort by reference number)
  46.         all of your Family Tree data files.
